Dr. alison roth, dvm
Dr. Alison Roth is owner of Athletic Equine Veterinary Services of Benson NC. Most of the year Dr. Roth spends traveling to AQHA shows to provide sports medicine care to clients and patients from across the country. Dr. Roth grew up and attended undergraduate college in North Carolina. She then went on to veterinary school at Oklahoma State University. It was at Oklahoma State where Dr. Roth found her passion for sports medicine.
After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Roth completed a sports medicine internship at Hassinger Equine where she stayed on as an associate veterinarian. After several years at Hassinger Equine Dr. Roth opened her own practice in 2020.
Outside of providing care for her patients Dr. Roth enjoys spending time with her personal horses, family and friends.
Maggie Pleasant
Maggie has been a staple at Athletic Equine since 2021. While she doesn't travel anymore to the shows she is still working behind the scenes to keep us going.
